On Friday 26 June, from 18:00 to 23:00, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer invited all its guests to a shopping promenade with music and gourmet food stops. Our chefs offered delicious food from legendary Citroën Type H food trucks.
Chef Joël Garault (of the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Vistamar) prepared delectable dishes in front of Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. On the Avenue de Monte-Carlo, the Beach Hotel food truck was run by Paolo Sari, Chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant Elsa. In Allée François Blanc, at the foot of the Buddha Bar, Gian-Franco Brugaletta, Head Chef of the establishment, was in charge, whilst Chef Franck Cerutti of Hôtel de Paris worked from Place du Casino. Up the street from the Monte-Carlo Pavilions, the gourmet food was offered by Chef Jean-Claude Brugel of Café de Paris. By offering this enchanting moment to almost 500 people, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer associated gastronomy and shopping during this lovely Monte-Carlo evening.
On 26 June, Société des Bains de Mer is not just offering a festive gourmet food promenade, but also a premiere shopping promenade experience. The challenge is considerable: offer an exclusive vision of luxury shopping with the Monte-Carlo Shopping Promenade, which brings together around 40 stores near Place du Casino. The promenade starts with a walk through the Monte-Carlo Pavilions, an authentic contemporary sculpture facing the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Then, we continue from Hôtel Hermitage all along the prestigious Avenue de Monte-Carlo and Allée François-Blanc. Discover the world’s most prestigious brands in a Mediterranean setting and experience shopping the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer way.
Emphasising luxury shopping is part of Société des Bains de Mer’s strategy to play an important role as an internationally renowned luxury shopping destination. At a time when people travel to shop, the group aims at making Monaco a premiere shopping destination.
